A small miracle would be nice....

Just a small one, teeny tiny. Things seem so compounded right now. It's a new year but financially we are so strapped. I took a leave of absence from school so I could stay home and help Damon out when needed and to get the kids to and from school. Having 1 car really makes that difficult at times. Thank God I don't have to work right now, even though the extra income would truly help. Still waiting on the VA and SS to come through for us, seems we've been waiting forever and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. I just pray that this is a good year for us, even though it's starting off a little bumpy, financially speaking.

Another day almost down, another day to look forward to.

Wow, Keri, I finally took the time to find out who you are. I apologize it took me this long. But crazy how similar our lives are. Keep up the fight. Things will come through. We have our SSDI court hearing on March 3rd. Our lawyers tell us it is an open and shut case and don't see how it won't go in our favor.

I met Kevin in January 2005 and we married in Sept of 2006. He was married before when he was an active Marine and he was stationed at the same time as your husband in Camp Pendelton. Weird. Kevin was in 1997 - 2001. I believe. Before my time with him and he was married to someone else at that time so I don't follow it that closly. :)

But small world.

I will pray for your miracle and for pain management for your husband.

Hang in there. Thanks for following my blog. I wanted to follow yours, but couldn't find the button or way to follow it. I admit I not a techno person. So I might be missing something. :)
